Chicago, Illinois, USA - September 15, 2026 - Coach A Events & Designs, LLC today announced the expansion of its online retail store, adding new sports gear items to a product catalog that already includes the company's popular student-athlete academic planners in both high school and collegiate editions. The expanded store, accessible through the company's website and its dedicated online retail platform, reflects founder Andrea Williams's mission to serve the athletic community with products developed from nearly three decades of firsthand experience in collegiate sports.
The student-athlete academic planners remain the cornerstone of the product line. Developed by Williams, who spent 28 years coaching NCAA women's basketball, the planners were created to address a persistent challenge she witnessed throughout her career: young competitors struggling to balance the demands of their sport with their academic responsibilities. The high school version is tailored to the scheduling realities of prep athletes navigating recruitment timelines and standardized testing alongside competition seasons, while the collegiate version accounts for the more complex demands of competing at the university level.
The newly expanded sports gear selection complements the planners by providing athletes, coaches, and fans with branded items that reflect their connection to competitive sports culture. The gear is available exclusively through the company's online channels, making it accessible to customers regardless of their location.
Williams brings a unique perspective to retail product development. Her 28 years as an NCAA women's basketball coach gave her an intimate understanding of what athletes and coaching staffs actually need, rather than what outsiders might assume they want. That insight has guided every product decision, from the layout and content of the academic planners to the selection of gear items now available in the store.
The retail expansion is one component of a broader business that spans multiple areas of the sports industry. Williams is the founder and operator of Compete Con, a sports convention that brings together athletes, celebrities, coaches, and fans for networking, entertainment, and professional development. She also provides professional consulting services to coaches and administrators, functioning as a support resource for athletic programs looking to strengthen their staffs and improve their operations.
Williams has built a multifaceted public profile that extends well beyond the court. She is a nationally featured speaker who delivers presentations at events across the country, sharing the leadership lessons and competitive insights she accumulated during her coaching career. She is also an author of a children's coloring book line, demonstrating a creative range that has surprised and delighted audiences who initially knew her only through athletics.
Her ventures in entertainment further expand her reach. Williams is a seated actor with The Dinner Detective, a nationally run interactive entertainment company, and she creates original digital content as a UGC creator. These pursuits have helped her build an engaged following that crosses traditional boundaries between sports, entertainment, and entrepreneurship.
The expanded online store is live and currently accepting orders. Customers can browse the full product catalog, including all academic planner editions and the new gear collection, through links available on the company's main website. Williams has indicated that additional product releases are planned for the coming months as the company continues to grow its retail presence.
